Cinnamon Donuts Recipe

Ingredients
For the Donuts:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Donut Batter
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
3. In a separate bowl, amalgamate the melted butter, eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla extract. Combine thoroughly until a uniform mixture is achieved.
4. Slowly incorporate the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing until merely combined.
Step 2: Bake the Donuts
1. Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
2. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
3. Permit the donuts to cool in the pan for several moments prior to relocating them to a wire rack.
Step 3: Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar Coating
1. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar with the ground cinnamon.
2. While the donuts are still warm, toss them in the cinnamon sugar mixture until well coated.
